On June 17th, 2025, INK, in collaboration with Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), hosted a national conference on “The Contemporary Relevance of Bhartiya Philosophy, Culture, and Traditions in the Modern World.”
The rich heritage of Bhartiya Darshan (Indian philosophy), culture, and traditions has long served as a guiding force in shaping ethical, intellectual,and social frameworks. In an era of rapid globalization and technologicaladvancement, these ancient wisdom traditions continue to offer profound insights into governance, sustainability, mental well-being, and ethical decision-making.This conference aims to explore the enduring relevance of Indian philosophical thought, cultural values, and traditional knowledge systems in addressing contemporary global challenges. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners from diverse disciplines will engage in discussions on topics such as Vedanta and consciousness studies, Dharma in leadership, Ayurveda and holistic health, the influence of Indian aesthetics in global art, and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence through the lens of Indian philosophy.By fostering a dialogue between Eastern and Western perspectives, this conference seeks to bridge ancient wisdom with modern innovation, offering sustainable and ethical solutions for the world.
