Abstract: Culture determines the value system, which in turn influences human behaviour. Some recent incidents in the UK do not bode well for community relations. In this context, what role did the cultural asymmetries play and what can be done to prevent a repeat of such events? This question will form the focus of this webinar.

Speaker’s Biosketch: Dr Gautam Sen was the President of the World Association of Hindu Academicians and a Co-director of the Dharmic Ideas and Policy Foundation. He is one of the key experts at the Integrated Strategy Analysis and Research Consultancy (ISAARC), which offers agile economic and strategic development planning capacity and depth to governance institutions for tackling complex challenges in realising “Atma Nirbhar Bharat”. He had taught International Political Economy at the London School of Economics (London, UK). A noted political economist and columnist, he has worked as a senior consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. He is a co-author of the book “Analyzing the Global Political Economy”, published by the Princeton University Press in 2009.
