    The India Knowledge Consortium (INK) is a UK-based global collective of academics and practitioners across disciplines, including management, entrepreneurship, finance, economics, history, cultural studies, science & technology, united in advancing and disseminating research-based knowledge about India’s society, culture, traditions, economy, and polity.

    Work Experience Opportunities

    Build and maintain small NLP pipelines to extract themes and trends from articles, webinar transcripts, and social posts.
    • Perform text cleaning, topic modelling, sentiment/stance analysis, and entity recognition to support editorial decisions and research briefs.
    • Summarize insights into clear, visual-friendly deliverables (briefs, dashboards) for the INK team.
    • Preferred tools/skills: Python (pandas, scikit-learn, spaCy/transformers), basic data viz (Matplotlib/Plotly), prompt engineering.

    What You’ll Do :
    • Research and Scholarship: Support academic articles, policy notes, and knowledge dissemination reflecting India’s heritage and current developments.
    • Collaboration: Work with scholars and practitioners in a multicultural network.
    • Events and Outreach: Assist in organizing virtual talks, webinars, and seminars.
    • Strategy: Help conceptualize new projects that amplify INK’s impact (policy, education, collaborative research).
    What You’ll Gain

    • Skill development: Hands-on experience in NLP analytics, digital marketing, or thematic content creation.

    Who Should Apply
    • Students or recent graduates in fields such as Computer Science/Data Science, Marketing/Communications, History, Cultural/Religious Studies, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, or related disciplines.
    • Excellent writers/communicators with an eye for detail; self-motivated and comfortable working across time zones.
    • Familiarity with India-related topics (desirable but not mandatory).

    Time Commitment & Duration :
    • Duration: 3–6 months (flexible).
    • Schedule: ~8–12 hours/week, remote and asynchronous where possible.
